SCM-GL reserves the right to change the products and/or prices listed on its Website without notice. It is the buyer’s responsibility to know what he or she is purchasing. The actual products ordered on the SCM-GL Website may not be exactly as described or illustrated. SCM-GL may not be held responsible in any way for modifications to product designs or features.

All prices indicated on this site are in Canadian dollars (CAD).

PayPal payments only are accepted.

A transaction is completed once your payment has been submitted. As long as you have not submitted your payment, it is possible to cancel a transaction, remove or add items to your cart, or exit the online store without processing the order.

Online transactions are completed in a most secure environment on this site. Please note that the entire site need not be secure. Only the PayPal sections that allow the sending of confidential information require this type of protection.

All orders, including special orders, are invoiced upon transaction completion (see “Transaction completed” section above). SCM-GL may not be held responsible for shipping delays of any kind. All delivery dates provided are approximate and in no way constitute a promise of delivery upon said dates.
No discount, return, or any other form of compensation will be provided to any client for late deliveries or for deliveries on a date other than the one estimated at the time of order. Special orders may not be returned or cancelled under any circumstances. 

Unless otherwise stipulated, products purchased via our online store are delivered by Dicom Express or Purolator. Delivery lead times vary depending on the shipping destination for the merchandise. Please contact us if you have any question about delivery lead times for your order. All merchandise is expedited from the Province of Qu├ębec, Canada, and, for the time being, may only be delivered within Canada.

Damage during shipping 
We recommend that you refuse delivery for any parcel/package damaged during transport: it is your responsibility to inspect all merchandise parcels and packaging for damage prior to accepting delivery. If, for some reason, a damaged parcel is delivered without your consent prior to being inspected, please call us immediately. We will gladly help you process your claim.

If we have the product in stock, the damaged product will be replaced in the shortest possible timeframe after receipt of the damaged product or upon receipt of the transport company’s claim number. Product damages or losses incurred after delivery are not covered; no exceptions.

Lost packages
In the event a package is lost during delivery, you must contact the transport company in question and/or a member of the SCM-GL team to report it. Please have your complete coordinates and waybill number (sent by email when you placed your order) on hand when you call as we will need this information to search for the package. Once the package has been confirmed as missing by the shipper, the product will be replaced in the shortest possible timeframe by an identical or equivalent product. Losses incurred after delivery are not covered; no exceptions.

Returns – defective products
Defective products may be returned in exchange for an identical or equivalent product only. Distribution de SCM-GL will ship the replacement product only once the defective product has been received and evaluated. If Distribution of SCM-GL deems that the product is not defective or if the product return is refused for any reason, the client is responsible for all costs incurred. 

Returns – products and cancelled orders
Standard product orders (non-defective) may be returned or cancelled, certain conditions apply. 

The product must be in its original packaging and must not have been used, modified or installed; no exceptions. The client must obtain a Return Authorisation number from a SCM-GL representative/consultant within 10 days following the reception date of the shipment. The client must then return the product to Distribution de SCM-GL within 10 days following receipt of the authorization number. Only the original buyer may submit a return request. The client is responsible for all transport charges as well as restocking charges; equal to 20% of the purchase amount. Products returned with a Return Authorization number will be credited within 15 to 30 days following receipt of the merchandise.

Hazardous materials
When ordering products deemed “Hazardous Materials” by the transport company, a $15 surcharge will automatically be added to the shipping charges. This amount is only added once per shipment regardless of the number of hazardous material items on your order: if, for example, you order two hazardous material products, the $15 surcharge will only be applied once. As such, you might want to consider consolidating your hazardous material products on a single order. A special indication identifies the “hazardous material” products available through our online store.
